The DRILLNOVA Fixed Type Hole Opener is a heavy-duty HDD bore-enlargement tool with roller-cone cutters welded to a project-specific body. Steel-tooth and TCI cutter options, robust welded supports and wear-protected surfaces provide a stable cutting platform for soft, mixed, medium-hard and hard formations.
The DRILLNOVA Fixed Type Hole Opener uses welded roller-cone cutters to enlarge HDD pilot bores. Its simple, rigid construction supports high-load reaming, while the cutter type, count, placement and protection are selected for the finished diameter and ground conditions.
The cutter assemblies are welded to the body. Cutter replacement requires workshop removal, welding, dimensional verification and final inspection by qualified personnel.
Review standard Diamond Compact PDC Bit configurations below. Final dimensions and connections are confirmed during application review.
Confirm connection, pilot-hole clearance, cutter condition and operating parameters before the run.
Inspect cutters, welds, supports, hardfacing, body and connection after every run.
Protect roller cones, threads and welded supports from impact, moisture and contamination.
DRILLNOVA Bolt-On Hole Opener with field-replaceable roller-cone cutters for HDD bore enlargement in soft to hard formations. Standard and project-specific sizes are available from 12 to 48 inches.

VIEW PRODUCTIt is designed for HDD pilot-bore enlargement where a rigid welded cutter layout is selected for a defined finished diameter and formation.
Steel-tooth cutters are generally selected for soft to medium formations. Final selection depends on compressive strength, abrasiveness, fracture condition and expected run length.
TCI cutters are generally selected for medium-hard to hard rock, with IADC and insert geometry matched to the ground conditions.
No. The cutters are welded to the body. Replacement requires controlled workshop removal, qualified welding, dimensional checks and final inspection.
Provide pilot-hole and finished diameters, formation data, abrasiveness, drill model, connection, available torque/pullback, circulation capacity and any dimensional limits.
Yes. DRILLNOVA can review the connection, cutter size, count, IADC code, sealing option, placement and wear protection for the project.
Check cone rotation, teeth or inserts, bearings and seals, cutter-support welds, body welds, hardfacing, fluid passages and threaded connections.
Share your target diameter, formation, pilot-hole size, rig connection and operating limits. DRILLNOVA will review the cutter structure, cutter count, welded layout and tool interfaces for your project.
