DRILLNOVA HDD Adapters connect drill rigs, housings, drill strings and downhole tools with different thread interfaces. Available in pin-to-pin and box-to-pin configurations, each adapter is machined to the specified connection, through-bore and overall dimensions for dependable torque transfer and drilling-fluid circulation.
The DRILLNOVA HDD Adapter provides a controlled transition between incompatible drill-string or tooling connections. A one-piece alloy-steel body, precision-machined threads and a continuous internal bore support reliable mechanical load transfer and drilling-fluid flow in HDD pilot drilling and reaming assemblies.
Do not select an adapter from thread diameter alone. Mismatched taper, pitch, shoulder position or gauge stand-off can damage both the adapter and mating component.

The supplied QC record confirms 42CrMo for two JT40 adapter configurations. Material for other models should be confirmed on the approved drawing rather than assumed.
Inspection may include calibrated thread gauges, shoulder and stand-off checks, outside and internal diameter measurements, overall-length verification and visual examination.
No. Threads with similar diameters may have different pitch, taper, shoulder and gauge requirements. Both mating connections must be fully identified.
Inspect for thread galling, shoulder damage, body deformation, washout or bore erosion, cracks, corrosion and illegible identification marks.
