Final blade count, cutter size, connection, hydraulic layout, overall dimensions and operating limits are confirmed after reviewing the target hole diameter, pilot-hole size, formation, drilling-fluid capacity and rig parameters. Fixed PDC reamers are application-specific tools; do not select a configuration by diameter alone.
